A little context,
before the camera.
UK-based / Behind the lensI’m Jude.
Glad you’re here.
My work moves between wedding celebrations, portrait sessions, conference halls, and the places I go simply to look. The setting changes. My interest in people doesn’t.
I’m Jude Ofori-Teiko, the photographer behind Kwami Teiko. I’m now based in the UK, building on a portfolio developed in Ghana. I’m drawn to photographs with a sense of place: the colour, the light, the clothes, and the small gestures that make a moment belong to the people in it.
At a wedding, that means watching the family as closely as the couple. At a conference, it means looking beyond the lectern. In a portrait session, it means giving someone time to settle before asking them to hold still.
I’m open to photography roles, commissions, and collaborations in the UK. I bring experience across people-led work, from intimate portrait sessions to large events, and an interest in building a considered collection from the whole occasion.
Tell me your storyFirst we talk.
Then we make pictures.
We connect.
Tell me the date, the place, and the purpose. We’ll discuss the people and moments that matter, agree on coverage, and make the practical decisions before the day.
You live it.
Some photographs need direction. Others need room to happen. I work between the two, keeping an eye on the light, the schedule, and what’s happening at the edges.
The story stays.
The edit gives the collection its shape: establishing the place, introducing the people, and staying with the moments that carry the occasion. Delivery is agreed with your commission.
